    • Develop or enhance existing procedures to approve down payment assistance programs and/or to ensure effective participation in state and local housing agency first mortgage programs.
    • Create program change requests to enhance systems that will simplify the origination process, bringing better loan manufacturing quality as well as more clarity for the loan officer and borrower.
    • Write program-specific guidelines, providing desktop guides, system screen prints and step-by-step instructions for loan officers, processors, and secondary and capital markets.
    • Design an affordable housing production support department plan that includes required position descriptions, job duties, and salaries, and describes ancillary department coordination including production channels, audit, compliance, legal, fair lending, servicing, and others.
